Meet Dominique - A Tender Heart Ready to Bloom

Dominique is a gentle, affectionate young girl with a heart full of love and a quiet hope for a place to call home. She may be a little shy at first, especially in new environments or when meeting unfamiliar faces, but with patience and kindness, her sweet personality begins to shine.

Dominique is best suited to a calm, structured home where she can settle in at her own pace. She thrives on routine and will need a patient owner who understands that trust takes time. Once she feels safe, she loves nothing more than being close to her people - leaning in for pats and soaking up all the affection she can get.

Walks in new places can be a bit overwhelming for Dominique, and she may chew on the lead when unsure. Starting with gentle lead training in the backyard will help build her confidence. Once she's comfortable, quiet and familiar walking routes will be the perfect next step.

She's still figuring out the joy of toys and play, but with time and encouragement, she may discover how much fun they can be. Dominique would do best in a home with older, respectful children who can give her the space and understanding she needs to feel secure.

She must meet any resident dogs at the time of adoption. Dominique has shown a playful and social side during dog meets, though she can be a bit enthusiastic - so a tolerant, friendly canine companion could be a great match to help her feel more at ease.

Dominique is ready to be part of a loving family who will welcome her indoors and include her in their daily lives. With a little time and a lot of love, she'll blossom into the loyal, cuddly companion she's meant to be.
