Hi, I’m Elton
Elton is a gentle, timid soul who will need a patient and understanding adopter to help him feel safe and secure in his new home. He should be started in a small, quiet area with access to any escape routes or hard-to-reach spots blocked off. Large, open spaces can overwhelm him, so it's important to give him time to settle before gradually allowing more freedom.
To help Elton feel at ease, provide a variety of safe spaces throughout the home-scratch posts, cat trees, cardboard boxes, igloos, and access to shelves or dressers will give him places to hide, rest, and observe.
With time, Elton will begin to relax and show his true personality. He's looking for a home where his need for space and gentle encouragement will be respected. If you're someone who finds joy in earning a shy cat's trust and watching them blossom, Elton will reward you with quiet companionship and his own special kind of affection.

- A property check may be required before ADOPTION to ensure the safety and welfare of adoption animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties. Differential pricing may apply.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
