Dylan is a shy and sensitive cat who needs a quiet, understanding home where he can settle in at his own pace. When first arriving, Dylan should be introduced to a small, enclosed area with all escape holes and hard-to-reach spots blocked off. He can feel overwhelmed in large, open spaces, so it's important to let him build confidence before exploring the rest of the house.
To help Dylan feel secure, his environment should include scratch posts, cat trees, and cosy hides like cardboard boxes or cat igloos. He'll also appreciate access to shelves or dressers-safe spaces both high and low that let him observe and relax.
Dylan is best suited to a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. With calm support and consistency, Dylan will gradually come out of his shell and show his true, sweet nature. If you're someone who values quiet companionship and the reward of earned trust, Dylan may be the perfect match.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
