Are you seeking a loving cat companion? Are you kind and patient? We have a beautiful young lad, Mikey, who needs your help.

Mikey is a beautiful ginger boy with a sweet, sensitive nature. He's not demanding in any way, however he is shy and needs love and reassurance. Mikey's purr-fect home is one where he is loved unconditionally, kept well-nourished and cared for in a safe indoor environment. We also recommend that the household be a calm and mature one to help Mikey settle in.

ENDEARING FEATURES:- Mikey is very handsome with a beautiful soft coat and stunning yellow eyes that will engage with you and draw you in. His cute pink nose is so adorable.

FRIENDS:- - Mikey has lived with three young teenagers. Mikey has a special friend - his handsome tuxedo brother, Pepper, who is also available for adoption. Imagine bringing both Mikey and Pepper into your home - it would be filled with double the love, double the fun, double the purrs and you'd have an instant family.

ESSENTIALS:- A couple of large-sized cat scratching trees would be fun and healthy for him especially if they are placed near a window and also where the family gathers (e.g. family room). Cardboard boxes and toys will help keep him happy with his inside life. Mikey is in good health, apart from needing to lose a little weight, and with a nutritious diet of high-quality dry biscuits, healthy wet food and bowls of fresh, clean water, he has many years (15 years plus) ahead of him.

Mikey needs a "LAUNCH ROOM" because of his shy nature. This is a temporary area (bedroom or crate) that he can feel secure in if he becomes overwhelmed in the home. Providing this is certainly worth the effort and can be the difference between "stress" and "success" in his transition.

LIFESTYLE:- Mikey has ALWAYS BEEN AN INSIDE CAT and therefore needs an indoor lifestyle to keep him safe from the many dangers that exist in the outdoors environment. Also, cats are known for their hunting ability and cat guardians need to be responsible by protecting the wildlife living in the outside spaces. Cats are prone to skin cancers and Mikey's pink nose is vulnerable.
